Comcept and Deep Silver have reached an agreement for the distribution of Mighty No. 9, the new project of Keiji Inafune initially funded through Kickstarter.
In essence, it is a postponement, but at least now Mighty No. 9 can count on the support of a strong distributor as Deep Silver. Comcept will remain owner of the brand Mighty No. 9, but the two companies will join forces to launch and distribute effectively the game: Deep Silver will be responsible for sales and Comcept assist in the testing phase of the game.
Created by Keiji Inafune, the legendary game designer who created forms of Mega Man, and a development team of industry veterans, Mighty No. 9 is a side-scrolling platformer that reproduces the atmosphere of classic 8 and 16-bit, beloved by the more experienced players in a fast-paced, modern title.
Mighty No. 9 in the great discoveries of engineering robotics have led to a new era of peace and prosperity. The violence is concentrated in the Colosseum, where combat robots face off in spectacular duels. Dr. White has developed robot 9 brothers called ” Mighty Numbers “, which became the strongest wrestlers, popular and successful of the Colosseum.
But a cyber attack took place during a meeting, they had infected machines in transforming violent and out of control. In all this, the player plays Beck, the ninth robot team and the only one not to have been affected by the mysterious virus that has made all the crazy mechanical creatures in the world.

Created by Comcept with the cooperation of co-Japanese developer Inti Creates, Mighty No. 9 will be available from September 15, 2015 in America and September 18, 2015 in Europe in digital download and physical copy for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U , PC, Linux and Mac, and only in digital version for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A portable version destined to PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS will be published later.
