Razer Forge TV: A set-top box that is streaming PC games on TV

Razer will release two new controller combined with Forge TV. The first is Serval, which will cost $ 80, to be added to the cost of the console is of course, $100. Serval is built on the basis of the appreciated controller Sabertooth and you can connect it to your TV or Forge smartphone. The latter is placed in the recess provided in the upper part of the controller, which allows you to play through the device to all securities Android.
But Razer has also thought the new combo mouse / keyboard Turret. From $ 130, this allows you to play from the comfort of your sofa. It is a dual-access, since it is able to simultaneously connect via Bluetooth and via Wi-Fi network at 2.4 GHz, so as to interface at the same time with two terminals.
The mouse has a precision of 3,500 dpi and inside is equipped with a magnet, which allows it to remain anchored on the surface and not to fall even when the player moves his hands on the keyboard. Turret will be equipped with a charging cradle which will allow to position both mouse and keyboard in the vertical direction.
Forge TV will connect to the software Razer Cortex, able to stream the games developed by the PC desktop. Cortex will be compatible with most PC configurations that are equipped with at least one video card DirectX 9. It is basically a platform not unlike NVIDIA GameStream or Steam In-Home Streaming.
Razer will use an encoder owner who, by press release, will ensure minimum latency, even playing at 1080p resolution. Here the technical specifications on the console: 805 Snapdragon processor, Adreno 420 GPU, 2GB of RAM, a 1.4 HDMI port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, Wi-Fi standard AC, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 and 16 GB of memory internal.
Razer Forge TV and Serval will be available from the beginning of the year, while Turret will arrive in the second quarter of 2015, when the services of the game will be streamed online.
