Namco Bandai will distribute The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt in Europe

Namco Bandai will be responsible for the distribution and promotion activities related to The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. The game, as previously announced, will be released in 2014 in the format’s PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The agreement between Namco Bandai and CD Projekt is valid for 24 European countries.

” We have already worked with Namco Bandai, and therefore, already are aware of the ideals that drive us and that is the basis of The Witcher series, ” said Adam Badowski, Head of Studio, CD Projekt RED. ”

They know our vision for the game, and we are sure they will do a great job in informing the players on the size of the game world of The Witcher 3, as well as on the depth of story and RPG mechanics of the new generation. ”

Namco Bandai has already released The Witcher 2 in Europe, but in that case, the collaboration with CD Projekt did not go very well, considering that even resulted in legal action.

The Witcher is a series of role-playing games created in 2007 with the first chapter for the PC. The Witcher 2 arrived in 2011, and also debuted on consoles, namely the Xbox 360, picking up rave reviews from critics in the industry.
