Ubisoft admits that especially on PC there have been problems of cheating in the closed beta of The Division has just ended.
The beta of The Division is served at Ubisoft Massive and above all to test the network infrastructure, but it can also be particularly useful in order to address the problem of cheating, which unfortunately afflicts much of the multiplayer titles.
The beta version of the new Ubisoft MMO presented some glitches that have been exploited by attackers who have been able to cheat and gain competitive advantage, especially in the PvP beta. He admitted the Ubisoft itself, through its community manager, on the official forum of the game.
Through exploits, some PC players have been able to multiply the bullets available and to obtain more likely to deal critical hits. It could even become invincible and invisible, with the problems which also affect the console versions, while presenting itself in these cases in fewer circumstances.
” The team is working full-time to solve these problems and introduce a new system that will allow to have a better gaming experience as early as March 8, the day the game will be released, ” wrote community manager.
It could refer to an external anti-cheating system like Valve Anti-Cheat Steam or an internal tool that will allow players to bring back those who cheat.
The closed beta of The Division has proved an undeniable success both as numbers and as a level of appreciation from the players, to the point that now we talk of a possible open beta. Many have registered their played and published these creations to YouTube. Below is an example with which they will emphasize the alternation of night and day, and the management system of the weather conditions of the Snowdrop engine. Our impressions of the beta can be found at this address.
